What Your Kindness and Generosity Make Possible

As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on what this community has made possible.

This year, hundreds of families found support and encouragement at Neighborhood House. Children had safe, empowering environments to learn and grow. First-time homebuyers got the keys to their new houses. Seniors received the help they needed to maintain their stability. And through it all, our neighbors were reminded that they're not alone — that there are people who truly care about them.

None of that happens without kindness and generosity. Every gift, every volunteer hour, every word of encouragement, every person who told a struggling friend or family member about us — it all adds up. It all matters.

As we head into 2026, I know more families will turn to us for help. Some are already going through the hardest season of their lives. Others will face an unexpected crisis in the months ahead. When they reach out, I want us to be ready.
