Highmark Walk: Frequently Asked Questions

Updated: Apr 18, 2023

The Highmark Walk is on June 11th! You are invited to walk with us to raise funds for Neighborhood House. Every step helps us provide much need services for our community. One hundred percent of the funds pledged and raised go to our organization.

Registering a walk-team or as a participant is EASY! Go to our Highmark Walk page to register! Information about the location, start time, and itinerary are available on the registration page. You can also find that information here.

Below are some frequently asked questions about the registration process.

What's the difference between registering as an individual, creating a team, joining an existing team, or making a donation?

  • Registering as an individual means you are donating and participating in the walk by yourself.

  • Creating a team means you and several others (friends, family, coworkers) will donate and walk together as a group.

  • Joining an existing team means you join a friend or family member's walk team and donate with their group.

  • Making a donation is just that: Making a financial contribution to the fundraiser with no commitment to walk independently or with a team.

What if I register to walk (independently or with a group) but can't make it to the event on June 11th?

  • We'd love to meet you as well as our other supporters on walk day but understand that things come up, plans change. We appreciate your support, either way!

Is this a child-friendly event?

  • Absolutely! Bring the whole family! There will healthy snacks available, games, giveaways, and other activities to make this a fun event!

Additional notes:

  • When you make a donation of $30 (or more), you will receive a Highmark Walk t-shirt on the day of the walk!

  • For every $50 you raise, your name will be entered to win a gift card. Your name will be entered for another chance to win for every $50 you raise.

We look forward to walking with you at Garrison Tubman Park on June 11th!
