This is a full-time, year-round position serving children during some of their most formative years — when responsive caregiving helps build the trust, curiosity, and independence that support learning and growth. The ideal candidate will be someone who understands that working with toddlers is about more than keeping them engaged. It's about noticing who each child is, responding to what they need, and helping them discover what they're capable of.
Requirements
Qualifications
Child Development Associate (CDA) in Infant-Toddler required
At least two years of experience working with children ages birth to five
Responsibilities
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Support children's growth through observation, assessment, and individualized care
Maintain compliance with Early Head Start and Delaware licensing standards
