24 Hours to Strengthen the Safety Net
When a family is on the brink of homelessness, it's not uncommon for the kids to fall behind in school. When a senior struggles to buy groceries, their electric bill often goes unpaid. When childcare costs spike, it usually results in lost income and mounting debt.
When crisis hits, everything is affected: housing, nutrition, healthcare, child development, financial stability. That's why Neighborhood House provides wraparound support that addresses the full picture.
The single parent who comes in needing emergency food assistance? They leave with groceries and connections to other resources that address the challenges they're experiencing. The kids in our afterschool program who are becoming better readers? Their parents have access to budgeting support that makes planning for their future more achievable.
