Neighborhood House is looking for an experienced Grants Manager to help identify new sources of funding, manage current grant compliance, and assist the Executive Director with developing sustainable and effective grant programs. We are a faith-based human services agency serving Delawareans for nearly 100 years.
Duties will include managing grant efforts, optimizing the grant administration process, preparing progress reports, ensuring compliance with grant regulations, reviewing grant proposals, managing grant databases, and engaging with donor agencies.
Your skills and expertise in successful grants management will help Neighborhood House serve as the “hands and feet” of Christ across New Castle County. A successful Grants Manager will strengthen relationships with donors, ensure that grant programs operate efficiently, streamline grant administration, and help keep our organization fiscally sound.
Requirements

• Researching funding opportunities
• Coordinating and engaging with grant writers
• Identifying support agencies
• Optimizing the grant administration process
• Managing timelines and deliverables
• Monitoring grant budgets
• Tracking grant applications
• Degree in business administration or equivalent
• Methodical and strategic thinking
• Good communication skills
• Project management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Budgeting and accounting experience
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of auditing policies
• Knowledge of donor agencies
• Strong writing skills
